Purchase/ Shipping Policy
At DeadwoodLive, we strive to make your ticket purchasing experience as easy and convenient as possible. Please take a moment to review this purchase policy which governs purchases made on our Site, our Terms which govern your use of our Site, and our privacy policy. If you have any questions, please contact us.
DeadwwodLive is an Internet-based, print-at-home ticketing service. We are hired by our clients to sell THEIR tickets. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your event experience BESIDES the purchasing process, you must speak to a representative of the event venue at the box office before the event has concluded. Policies set forth by our clients do not allow us to exchange or refund tickets once an event has taken place for any reason.
Methods of Payment
Etix accepts VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit or debit cards for your purchases. At the discretion of the venue or event promoter, however, all of these options may not be available for certain events.
Pricing and Availability
Throughout the duration an event is on sale on our Site, the DeadwoodLive software will select the best possible seat location at that time, as determined by our clients. DeadwoodLive does not determine which seats are better than others. The venue where the event takes place decides in which order seats will sell. By utilizing the Internet, all of DeadwoodLive’ distribution points access the same ticketing system and inventory; therefore, tickets for popular events with a high demand may sell quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event or added to an event as it is selling. DeadwoodLive does not control this inventory or its availability.
Order Confirmations
After submitting payment information, if for whatever reason you do not receive an order confirmation through a page on our Site or a confirmation e-mail or you are experiencing an error message, it is your responsibility to confirm with DeadwoodLive customer service whether your order has been processed. DeadwoodLive will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
Convenience Charges
A convenience fee (service charge) is assessed for each ticket purchased for the ease of purchasing tickets remotely. Delivery fees may also apply.
Ticket Limits
When purchasing tickets through DaedwoodLive, you are limited to a maximum number of tickets for each event per purchase. This ticket limit is clearly identified on the event page and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices. We reserve the right to cancel any or all orders and tickets if you exceed the posted limits, including orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
Cancelled or Postponed Events
All ticketed events are to be held regardless of weather conditions. Sometimes weather or other outside considerations make the performance impossible to complete. In such instances, the event venue or the event promoter are charged with making the final determination of cancellation and refund availability. DaedwoodLive will issue refunds ONLY if an event is canceled in its entirety. Refunds for rescheduled events will be provided only with the venue’s or promoter’s approval. If an event is canceled and not rescheduled, refunds will automatically be applied to the credit card used by the customer at the time of purchase. In such instances, refunds will generally appear on your next account statement depending on your billing cycle. Refunds for canceled performances include the ticket price and the per ticket convenience charge(s), but do not include the per order handling charge if any fees are collected for a chosen delivery option.
Opening Acts
Opening acts or guests may sometimes tour with headlining performers. DeadwoodLive is not always made aware of opening acts or the length of their performances. These opening acts are subject to change or cancelation at any time without notice. No refund will be given if an opening act is changed or canceled unless the venue or promoter approves it.
Refunds and Exchanges
Before purchasing tickets, it is your responsibility to carefully review your seat location, event, and performance date. Policies set forth by our clients may prohibit DeadwoodLive from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased.
Information Verification
For processing orders, DeadwoodLive requires verification of the billing information, including the billing address. Submitting incorrect billing information may cause delayed processing and delivery. DeadwoodLive may attempt to contact you regarding problems verifying your information. If DeadwoodLive has reason to believe your purchase is fraudulent or otherwise in violation of our Terms, we may cancel your order.
Unlawful Resale
Tickets unlawfully resold or attempted to be resold, counterfeit or copied tickets may be seized and canceled without compensation. DeadwoodLive has the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that we determine to be, or has been, in violation of our policies. DeadwoodLive allows the customer to reprint tickets for THE CONSUMER’S USE ONLY. The unique two-dimensional bar code printed on all tickets will allow ONLY ONE ticket, the first ticket, to enter the event. You agree not to sell, reproduce for sale, alter, or counterfeit the ticket for any reason, and assume all financial liability for the copying of the user’s unique, bar-coded ticket. DeadwoodLive does not guarantee the form in which you will receive your tickets. Tickets may be re-issued via a different channel when requested by the venue. Additionally, print-at-home™ tickets may only be printed up to the time of redemption.
Ticket Delivery and Will Call
If you have selected delivery through the mail, please allow at least fourteen days after placing your order for your tickets to arrive. For Fan Club Events, you will receive your tickets no later than 2 days prior to the show. For express delivery orders, please allow at least two business days for your orders to arrive. If you have not received your tickets within forty-eight hours of the event, please contact us at 1-800-514-3849. Etix will only ship tickets via Fedex or USPS to the billing address of the card holder. Occasionally, tickets may be available through will call for some events. Will call tickets are generally available one hour prior to the start time of the event. You will need to present the credit card used to purchase the tickets and a picture identification to pick up your tickets.
Note that some venues, teams and performers release tickets with a delivery delay. Delayed ticket delivery is used to prevent tickets from being accessed and printed until it can be confirmed that purchasers adhered to stated limits and did not employ unfair practices to make their purchase. Ticket delivery details are provided within your purchase confirmation email, or may be obtained by contacting Etix Customer Support.
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect (regardless of whether there was an error in the price posted on the Site), you are able to order a ticket before its designated on-sale date, or you are able to order a ticket that is not supposed to be available for sale, Etix shall have the right to cancel that order or ticket and refund to you the full amount that you paid, including fees.
Rejection and Ejection
Event staff reserves the right to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct the management deems to be disorderly or otherwise fails to comply with event rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event and will not result in a refund.
Permissions
You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event and that your appearance or actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public. You further agree to have no expectation of privacy regarding your conduct or actions at the event. You grant permission to Etix and the event management to utilize your name, image, likeness, appearance, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at, the event for any purpose, without further authorization from or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.
Subject to Search
Upon your entry into an event, you and your belongings may be subject to search. You hereby consent to such searches and waive any claims that may arise from such searches. If you refuse to undergo such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Some venues may prohibit certain items from being brought onto the premises, including but not limited to, alcohol, drugs, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, and containers.
